ˈkäləfən,ˈkäləˌfän
noun:
a statement at the end of a book, typically with a printer's emblem, giving information about its authorship and printing.
This site (and all sites I have built with the exception of smallcog which was built in Wordpress) have been built using GNU nano 2.2.6. I access nano remotely by connecting to my webhost and editing the files on my live environment via ssh. I should set up a local server on my laptop (HP ProBook 6470b running Debian GNU/Linux), but I'm kind of lazy.
Image editing and touch ups are accomplished in GIMP if I'm feeling ambitious, or more typically using Snapseed on my mobile device. Google Assistant has also done some amazing automatic touch ups, that makes me look like a way better photographer than I am.
As far as mobile devices (and cameras) as of November 2018 I double fist an iPhone 8, as well as a Google Pixel 2 XL. Don't ask me which I think is a better phone, or ask me to take sides. It's not an interesting conversation for me, as both are awesome for somethings, and are horrible for others. Choice is a great thing.
A lot of my time thinking about what I want to put into these places happens when I am on my 2012 Jamis Ventura Compe (#Denise). Cycling is cathartic, it clears my mind of the sludge of the day.
Music is always playing when I am suffering (cycling) or attempting to be creative, or putting words to silicon. My sound track varies with my mooods, and attempting to pigeonhole my listening habits would be an exercise in frustration. You can find me on Spotify if you look in the right places.
